Peel Wetlands Landcare Group

Peel Wetlands Landcare Group was formed in August 2009. We aim to take care of the wetlands and educate groups about our precious environment. The Peel Wetlands is next to Peel High School, off Cole Road. Working bees and workshops for local school groups are held throughout the year. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. The Peel Wetlands Landcare Group has roughly ten members, but this fluctuates.

Each year Peel High School and the Peel Wetlands Landcare Group host an EcoFestival involving many generous community agencies and individuals. Over 500 students are expected from our enthusiastic primary schools.
