RALF – Regional Agricultural Landcare Facilitator Lana Andrews

Lana’s role covers the southern half of the North West including Tamworth, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains and Narrabri Local Government Areas.

Growing up on a property near Tamworth, Lana has a background in natural resource management, community engagement, fire management and corporate development and was previously the Local Landcare Coordinator for the Liverpool Plains.

Lana is focussed on supporting sustainable and regenerative agriculture programs and is working closely with community groups and landholders supporting them in building resilience and adapting to changing markets and climate.

Lana is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Across the Paddock – News from the Regional Agricultural Landcare Facilitator

Rachel Dorney is Lana’s counterpart in the Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator role in the North of NSW and is hosted by Northern Slopes Landcare Association.

Rachel was born and raised on a farm in the New England region of NSW and purchased her own farm 15 years ago near Gravesend. Rachel has spent the past 26 years in the banking industry and has recently completed the Australian Institute of Company Director’s Course.

Rachel is passionate about regenerative agriculture and has first-hand experience in trialling different practices on her family farm.
