TRLA photography competition
TRLA Photography Competition – Theme: Biodiversity
Celebrate the incredible diversity of our region’s flora and fauna! From ancient, towering red gums to seasonal wattles and delicate bluebells, from wedge-tailed eagles and kangaroos to blue wrens and blue-banded bees—biodiversity thrives in every corner of our landscape. We invite photographers of all skill levels to capture the beauty of our natural environment, both big and small. Whether it’s the grassy white box woodlands, rivers, dams, and billabongs, or footpaths, parks, backyards, and even pot plants, there’s always a unique perspective waiting to be discovered.
The competition opens on May 17th and closes on June 28th, giving our judges time to carefully select the winning shots. Winners will be announced during Landcare Week, commencing August 8th, and all submitted photos will be proudly displayed at Fitzroy Plaza, allowing the community to celebrate and be enthralled by the stunning biodiversity of our region. So grab your camera or smartphone, explore the beauty around you, and “shoot your best shot!”
