2024 Photo Competition:
Water In The Landscape

On Friday night, October 25, a large crowd gathered in Fitzroy Plaza to celebrate the winners of the Tamworth Regional Landcare Association (TRLA) 2024 Photography Competition. The Tamworth Regional Gallery illuminated the night by projecting all 97 entries onto the "big screen" on Fitzroy Street, offering a beautiful display of our community’s talent and love for nature photography.

The theme, "Water in the Landscape," inspired local photographers to capture the natural world in all its moods and beauty, highlighting water’s essential role in our landscapes. Each entry showcased a unique perspective, creatively interpreting the theme to show water's place in our region.

David London, photographer from Quirindi, served as the competition judge, dedicating his time and expertise to select the winners. David carefully considered each photo for its artistic quality, technical skill, and how well it captured the theme.
