Exploring Pathways and Possibilities at the Ag Careers Expo

TRLA was delighted to be part of an incredible Agricultural Careers Expo, joining 37 trade and industry stands to connect with students and showcase the diverse opportunities available within Landcare, environmental management, agriculture, and natural resource management.

Tamika and Kate represented TRLA throughout the day, engaging with an impressive 1,500 students who attended from schools across New South Wales. The energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity displayed by students was truly inspiring, with many taking the opportunity to explore potential career pathways and learn more about the environmental sector.

With 37 trade stands in attendance, the event provided students with valuable opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, training providers, businesses, and community organisations. It was wonderful to see so many young people actively exploring their future career options and gaining insights into the wide range of pathways available to them.

Many thanks must go to Farrer and event organisers Tamara Gasson and Martin Peeters for their incredible organisation and dedication in delivering such a highly successful event. The planning, coordination, and attention to detail were evident throughout the day, creating an engaging and professional experience for both exhibitors and students alike.

TRLA was proud to be part of this outstanding event and thoroughly enjoyed meeting students from across the state. We look forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards, land managers, and community leaders.
