Forbs on Farms – Workshop 2: Practical Ideas for Productive, Resilient Farms

Landholders are invited to join us for Forbs on Farms – Workshop 2, a hands-on two-day workshop exploring the important role that flowering herbs, or forbs, can play in creating healthier and more resilient farming systems.

The workshop will explore how forbs can improve biodiversity and groundcover, support pollinators, contribute to soil health, and benefit stock performance and drought resilience. Participants will learn how to identify and manage forbs in pastures, hear from farmers and industry experts, and explore real-world case studies and practical examples.

The workshop will be presented by Dr Christine Jones, with contributions from farmers, land managers and industry experts. It will provide an excellent opportunity for landholders to gain practical knowledge, share experiences and take away ideas that can be applied directly to their own farms.

📅 Tuesday 10th – Wednesday 11th November
📍 Living Classroom, Bingara
🎟️ $50 per person or $80 for two people
🍴 Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and Tuesday dinner provided.

RSVP by 2 November 2026 to Jo Dufty on 0498 802 370 or jo@nsla.net.au.

Real farms. Real results. Practical takeaways. 🌱
